I spent the day yesterday at The League House in La Jolla. Yesterday marked the 10th Annual League House Picnic. Every year the La Jolla Rotary celebrates a theme at the annual picnic. This year the theme was “Surfin’ USA”. The League House courtyard was transformed into a surfing paradise complete with surfboards, wetsuits, tikis, lifeguard tower, beach balls, fishing nets, seashells and each table was adorned with a beautiful beach shack with palm trees! Kevin Quinn and San Diego Homecare were honored to participate in the La Jolla Rotary “Rotarians at Work Day” in August. Kevin is the Director of Community Development for the La Jolla Rotary. The club, in conjunction with the Salvation Army, helped build bicycles for underprivileged children in San Diego.
