I am honored to have been elected to be President Elect for The Rotary Club of La Jolla. I will follow an esteemed group Rotary members who have done a wonderful job of leading our group during our efforts to give back to La Jolla and our community in general. The Rotary Club of La Jolla provides very substantial grants to local graduates as well as graduates from Garfield High School. The club also provides weekly lessons in English via our Tijuana Scholars Program. In addition to these wonderful works, we have two parties a year for the League House in La Jolla–which is a Senior Living Facility in La Jolla that maintains subsidized housing for those seniors living there.
As the President Elect for The Rotary Club of La Jolla, one of my duties is to provide weekly speakers for the club. We traditionally have had wonderful speakers from all around the world that have provided wonder talks about everything under the sun! If you think you’d be a great speaker…let me know! If you know of someone, please send them our way.
I look forward to my continuing role in the leadership of The Rotary Club of La Jolla–the work the club does in invaluable to both La Jolla and the San Diego community.
